Reiki Therapy and its uses I begin by sharing a few real life examples from my existing students:- 1. I was at the airport, waiting to board the flight when my 5 year old complained of stomach ache. I gave him 10 minutes of reiki on the stomach area and the pain was gone. I was thankful for knowing reiki otherwise where would have I sourced the medicine from at the airport. 2. I was scheduled for this really important interview. I started giving reiki the day I got information for my interview. I walked into the room with a confidence which was unlike me. I obviously got the job. Thank you reiki. 3. I was travelling in metro and I had a splitting headache. I kept my hands on the temples and kept giving reiki. By the time the metro reached my station the headache was gone. This is what motivated me to learn the next level of reiki. 4. I live in a joint family. My in laws had a bigger room. They were not ready to shift from the room. When I conceived my second child, I wanted to shift to the bigger room as I could have really used up the space. I was scared to bring up this topic as this would have caused unrest in the house. I gave reiki to this goal for a month using a Selenite crystal and then broached the discussion about the room shift. To my surprise, my in laws agreed very readily. I was hardly expecting the process to be so smooth. Reiki gave me the confidence to deal with this issue peacefully. And to my surprise, it went very smoothly. 5. A plot of land was not getting sold. I put the goal for selling this plot in my reiki crystal grid. I gave reiki to the goal for around 3 to 4 months. The plot got sold at a good price. I was more than happy to realise my money which was stuck in the plot for such a long time. This sale happened all because of reiki. These cases give a glimpse into the scope of healings that can be done through reiki. Reiki therapy is a very simple hands laying technique. Anyone can learn reiki. There is no special requirement or prequalification needed for learning the therapy. The reiki therapy can be learnt in a reiki class. The classes are best attended face to face to experience the energy. In certain cases, reiki can be leant on a distance basis too. This means that your teacher and you are connected online and the class is attended by both of you sitting in your own geographical locations. Reiki is a technique in which the practitioner places his hands on the person, place and event that one wants to heal. The energy which is channelled through the hands can be directed towards any event or person whom we want to heal. Reiki as a technique is very old and has been practiced over many years now. There is no one perfect way of giving reiki. The therapy is very open ended and each practitioner connects with the therapy in their own way and also use it as per their belief system. This is the beauty of reiki, it does not bind one to any belief system. It allows one to explore the working of the subtle energy system around us per their own existing belief system. One must learn at least two levels of reiki as the two levels are enough to equip us to deal with most issues. In level one we learn to heal hands on, by hands on healing we mean that whatever we want to heal has to be present physically in front of us. The healing can be given to self as well as others right after learning level 1. The only piece of advice is that in level 1 do not undertake serious or complicated healings. We can undertake all kind of healings for self but for others heal only simple ailments or issues. Level 2 involves distance healing. In distance healing a practitioner can send healing to people and events which are sitting far or in future. Reiki can also be sent to traumas and events that happened in the past. The time is just an illusion. In universe the time exists in a loop means all events are present at the same time. Thus we can easily send reiki to the past and the future. We can heal complicated issues after level 2 as we are protected by reiki symbols. These symbols are like motors which help us heal the problem at a deeper level and hence more effectively. Reiki levels are like diving into the sea- at the waves level no equipment is needed but the secrets are also hidden, go a little deeper and one needs scuba diving gear. The sea life can now be seen. Go further deep and one needs diving gear. The secrets of the sea now start to open up more and more. The last reiki level is like deep level in the sea, professional and specialised gear is needed to be at that level. The sea opens up to reveal the deepest part of it. Reiki levels will open the secrets of the energy world to the practitioner in each subsequent level. Reiki is definitely one of the simplest and the most unbinding therapies for exploring the energy world and making our connection to the subtle energies stronger.
